Connor Kiesel is a junior broadcast journalism major in his third year with Ohio Sports Zone. Currently serving as an anchor and reporter, Kiesel covers a bevy of sports. He has done special features on academics and Title IX in Ohio athletics and the women's basketball team's 'Think Pink' day. Outside OSZ, Kiesel has color commentated high school football and been an associate producer for pieces on the Middle East and health care. Hailing from New York, he revels in the joy of the Yankees' latest championship but still thirsts to see the Jets win a Super Bowl and the Knicks look like a basketball team. He also enjoys giving back to the community and helping others.

Emily Hanford is a junior Broadcast Journalism major with a minor in Spanish.  This is her second year as a reporter for Ohio Sport Zone.  Emily is also a member of the Ohio University Student Senate and a former member of the Ohio Dance Team.

I am a junior Media Management major in the school of Media Arts and Studies. I enjoy long walks on the beach, sunsets, ice cream, and Arrested Development. I come from Grandview Heights, which is a small town in Columbus. I work at Camp Akita during the summer making sweet videos for parents to buy. On Sports Zone I am a production assistant. My favorite movie is Space Jam. That is all.

Jake is a freshmen in the School of Media Arts and Studies at Ohio University and is majoring in video production.  He is from Strongsville, OH. Jake really enjoyed working on Ohio Sports Zone for his first quarter and is looking forward to the quarters to come.

Jenny Moore is a senior transfer student at Ohio University who is majoring in Video Production with a corollary in Journalism. Her hometown is just 45 minutes away from OU's main campus in Lancaster. She has been a crew member for OSZ and a part of AVW Productions since the winter of 2008.

Justin is a junior broadcast journalism major in his second year with Ohio Sports Zone. Currently serving as anchor and hockey analyst, he is also the voice of the Ohio University Marching 110. Raised in Mansfield, Ohio, Justin is always rooting for his Browns, Tribe, Cavs, and Blue Jackets.

Katie is a sophomore Broadcast Journalism student with a minor in Spanish. She has been a part of OSZ since the winter quarter of 2009 and has loved every second of it. When she isn't reporting for Ohio Sports Zone, you can find Katie in Alden Library (3rd floor!) or at Ping, running.

Lauren Holz is thrilled to be the producer of Ohio Sports Zone this year. She is a junior at Ohio University, and this is her third year working for AVW. Lauren is from Columbus and graduated from Worthington Kilbourne High School. Lauren is also currently the Marketing Assistant for the School of Media Arts and Studies.

Linc Burkholder is a junior video production major and has been involved with the Ohio Sports Zone since 2006. He currently fills the position of director and in the past has worked as camera man, technical and audio director, graphics and set layout. Linc enjoys sports, lifring weights, movies and television. He is a loyal Ohio State Buckeye Fan. Linc attended Archbold High School , Archbold Ohio.

Matt Razzante is a junior at Ohio University in his first full year as a broadcast journalism major. This marks the second year Matt has worked on the critically acclaimed AVW Production, Ohio Sports Zone, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. He will be splitting his time between working on the new AVW show, “Straight Up”, and reporting on some hopefully successful Bobcat seasons. Being from Cleveland, look for Matt to represent his Indians, Cavaliers, and Browns. But please note, Matt is more than just a broadcast student, he is a friend to all, humans and animals alike. Please do not hesitate to contact Matt, for writing news stories is okay, but helping others is what gets him up in the morning. Micheal Locklear is a first-year broadcast news major. He reported on the cross country team during his first quarter, and also dabbles in the technical aspects of Ohio Sports Zone. Michael is also the segment producer of 'Ask Athens' for AVW Productions' "Straight Up", and is working his way through WOUB-TV's news and technical sequences.
