The Ohio University Basketball teams fell to the doom of away games this week. The men lost to rival Miami and the women on the road to Buffalo. The game began slowly until Cooper scored a three point shot for Ohio. The Ohio Men’s team has a more successful record than Miami (Ohio 9-8, Miami 5-11) but Miami outscored Ohio in the second half by earning more rebounds throughout the game. The women’s team has had no more luck than the men and has had even less luck so far in the season winning only four games. Buffalo’s field goal percentage of 51 put a damper on the Bobcat’s offense. Some Cats did manage to make personal strives. Ashley Fowler scored a team-high 12 points to lead Ohio, while three Cats totaled eight points including Jennifer Bushby , Carolyn Barnett and Da'Keisha Mann. Bushby totaled a game-high three steals, while Barnett tied a career-high seven rebounds. Written By: Emily Hanford |
